We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account (name, email, password), complete onboarding (company name, address, certifications, NAICS codes, services), upload documents (certification letters, W-9, capability statements, logos), and use our AI agents (RFP text, contract details, notes you enter). We also automatically collect usage data including which features you use, when you log in, and basic device/browser information for security and performance purposes.
We use your information to: provide and improve the BidFaster service; pre-populate your company information in AI-generated proposals and capability statements; send you daily contract digest emails (if opted in); process subscription payments through Stripe; communicate with you about your account; and analyze usage patterns to improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
BidFaster uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate proposals, capability statements, and contracting advice. Your company information (name, certifications, NAICS codes, services) is included in prompts sent to Anthropic's API to personalize AI outputs. RFP text and contract details you paste into the platform may also be sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API data. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Documents you upload (certification letters, W-9 forms, logos, capability statements) are stored securely in Supabase Storage. Your documents are private — only you can access them through your account. Documents are stored with row-level security, meaning no other user can access your files. You can delete your documents at any time from the Documents Library.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or banking information on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data according to PCI-DSS standards. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan access.
We share data only with: (a) Anthropic — for AI processing of prompts (API calls only, not stored by us); (b) Supabase — for database and file storage hosting; (c) Stripe — for payment processing; (d) Vercel — for application hosting and infrastructure. We do not share your data with government agencies, third-party marketers, or data brokers.
We implement reasonable security measures including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS); row-level security on all database tables (only you can access your data); secure file storage with signed URLs; authentication tokens that expire; and regular security updates. No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us immediately.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., payment records for 7 years per tax law).
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements); export your data in a portable format; opt out of marketing emails; and withdraw consent for non-essential data processing. BidFaster uses essential cookies for authentication (to keep you logged in) and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this will prevent you from logging in.
BidFaster is intended for business use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
Minnesota residents have additional rights under state law. As a Minnesota-based company, we are committed to complying with all applicable Minnesota privacy regulations. Contact us at hello@bidfaster.io for information about your specific state rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of BidFaster after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
